Do you love electronic music? Are you a DJ or a producer? Maybe a fan that can spend an entire paycheck at a record store? Decibel and Whrrl want to know why you love electronic music and why you want to attend Decibel Festival.

Decibel Festival is one of the premier electronic music festivals in the world. From September 24th-27th, over 100 of the most engaging musicians, DJs, and visual artists will be performing throughout Seattle (see artist and lineup info here), and Whrrl is giving away one free All Access Pass and 3 nights at the beautiful Warwick Hotel.

How does the contest work? It’s easy! Check out my example entry:

How will stories be judged?

Stories will be judged by a Decibel representative on the following criteria:

Originality
Demonstration of theme
Interesting story with lots of photos and text

How do I enter?

Sign up for Whrrl if you haven’t already.
Tell your story from whrrl.com or the iPhone app (download it here).
Tell your best story adhering to the contest theme. The privacy setting on your story must be “public”
Make sure “#db09″ is somewhere in your Whrrl story (can be in title, text update or caption)
Get your friends to say they like your story by clicking on the “I like it” button below the story.
